I Am New
How Does a Cruise Ship Church Work?

New to Seas of Grace Church?

A Church Family Without Walls. A Faith That Goes Beyond the Shoreline.

Welcome to Seas of Grace Church! We're glad you're here. Whether you found us through cruising, a friend, a Bible study, or a desire to grow closer to Jesus, there's a place for you in our church family.

We believe church is more than a building. It's people growing in faith, sharing the Gospel, serving others, and gathering together wherever God leads. Here are a few things to know as you get acquainted with us.

1. What is Seas of Grace Church like?

We're a Christian church family built around three simple commitments: Give the Gospel. Go on Mission. Gather Together. We connect online, study God's Word, encourage one another, and meet in person throughout the year. Our love for cruising creates unique opportunities for fellowship, Bible study, and mission outreach.

2. Do I have to be a cruiser to be part of the church?

Not at all! Cruising is one of the unique ways we gather and serve, but you don't have to own a passport, book a cruise, or even enjoy traveling to be part of our church family. If you love Jesus, want to grow in your faith, and have a heart for others, we'd love to connect with you.

3. What about my kids and family?

Families are welcome! We want people of all ages to discover the love of Jesus and grow in faith together. Because our gatherings may take place online or aboard cruise ships, family activities and children's arrangements can vary by event. Please contact us before attending so we can help you know what to expect.

4. Where do I park, and where do we meet?

Since Seas of Grace Church doesn't revolve around a traditional church building, our meeting locations depend on the gathering. Online activities can be joined from wherever you are, while in-person gatherings may take place aboard cruise ships or at designated locations. For cruise events, you'll need to follow the ship's parking, port arrival, and boarding instructions.

Check our Events page for upcoming gatherings and location details.

5. What should I wear?

Come as you are! We want you to feel comfortable and welcome. For online gatherings, wear whatever makes you feel at ease. For cruise gatherings, casual attire is generally fine for Bible study and fellowship, while special activities may call for something different. We'll share any specific recommendations with event details.

6. How can I get connected?

We're glad you asked! Start by exploring our website, checking the Events page, and reaching out through our Contact page. You can learn about our ministries, join upcoming Bible studies and gatherings, and discover ways to participate in our mission. Whether you want to grow in Scripture, serve others, pray, or help share the Gospel, we'd love to help you find your place.

7. What does “Give • Go • Gather” mean?

It's the heart of our church!

GIVE — Share the Good News of Jesus Christ in creative and meaningful ways.

GO — Support and encourage local ministries and mission work in the ports and communities we encounter.

GATHER — Build lasting Christian relationships through online fellowship, Bible study, prayer, and in-person gatherings.

We believe God can use ordinary people, everyday encounters, and even a cruise ship to make an eternal difference.
